HEAR FROM GENERASI GIGIH MENTOR THEMSELVES

Muhammad Ryan
Meteorologist and Software Developer at Center for Aviation Meteorology, BMKG
Generasi GIGIH 2.0 Mentor

I always don't feel confident with my mentoring skill since I am a big introvert. However, in the wrap up meeting, my mentee appreciated how active and quickly I can respond during mentoring sessions or outside. They are thankful for my guidance as it helped them accomplish their project, even though they were very unfamiliar with the topic. I am surprised how they view my mentoring so positively.

Bariq Nurlis
Engineer Intern at Grab
Generasi GIGIH 2.0 Mentor

At the end of my lesson in GIGIH, one of the participants messaged me personally saying that I am a role model for him. He's especially grateful for my teaching which he said has been great throughout the three meetings. He's eager to pursue this role even further after seeing me as his role model

Angel Mawar
School Teacher at Francis School
Generasi GIGIH 2.0 Mentor

My most favorite thing about being a mentor at Generasi GIGIH is the students' enthusiasm and fighting spirit in them. The modules and materials prepared by Generasi GIGIH team are also excellent in helping mentors to share the lessons in a systematic and interactive way. I remember at my last teaching session, a participant created a farewell session for me. It really touched my heart because they were able to bond very strongly and quickly over a short period of time.
